Thai oil massage EUR 60/60min
Traditional Thai massage (TTM) is a massage technique which is also known as the “ancient healing touch” in Thailand.
This traditional massage technique consists of passive stretching movements derived from yoga, joint mobilisation and pressure point massage.
Ten selected energy lines which, under ayurvedic teaching, form an energetic network within the body are treated through gentle stretches and rhythmic pressure exerted by the balls of the hands, thumbs, elbows, knees and feet.
Lomi Lomi EUR 90/90min
A Lomi Lomi massage not only provides relaxation but, based on its approach, it also serves the purpose of physical, mental and spiritual cleansing.
The huna philosophy of health and sickness resembles traditional Chinese medicine: Energy (mana) can flow in a healthy body, while blockades cause illnesses or can manifest themselves as tenseness.
The massage can resolve these blockades at a physical or mental level and re-establish harmony between body, spirit and soul. A lot of oil, originally from the Kukui nut, is used for this massage.
The masseur not only works with his hands but with the entire forearm including the elbows.
The movements are always flowing and slightly rocking. The intensity of the massage can vary – also during a treatment. As a result, it can be very gentle and calming but also demanding, moving into the pain in order to resolve deep tensions.
Classic massage EUR 60/60min
The classic massage comprises four different techniques which are carried out one after the other.
Gentle, light massage parallel to the direction of the muscle fibres. The masseur finds tensions or hardening of the muscles.
During kneading, the muscles are pushed against each other and, as a result, stretched. It essentially aims to increase the blood flow within the muscles and release tensions.
During this part of the massage, the masseur moves over the skin with his thumbs and the tips of his fingers making circular movements which go deep into the muscles. The friction is used to remove palpable hardening of the muscles.
Tapotement (rhythmic tapping)
The blood flow deep within the muscles is promoted by slight manual tapping, beating or slapping of the skin. At the same time, this massage technique also stimulates the nervous system.
Hot Stone EUR 60/60min
The hot stone massage is a form of massage which uses hot (usually: basalt) stones placed on the body. To this end, the stones are heated to approx. 60°C in a water bath. The aim is to relax the muscles by applying heat.
